Our set menu is offered daily 12noon – 7pm, (6.30pm Saturday) alongside the á la carte menu.

Starters

  • Vietnamese squid salad, oriental vegetables, chilli, lime, toasted cashews.
  • (V) Pear & endive, crumbled blue cheese, toasted hazelnuts.
  • Fried duck egg, toasted brioche, wild mushrooms, crispy smoked bacon, truffle oil.
  • Smoked mackerel pâté, horseradish, pickled red cabbage, sourdough.
  • (V) Shortcrust onion tart baked with cheddar, tomato relish.
  • (V) Spiced lentil soup, toasted sour dough, coriander, crème fraîche.

Main Courses

  • Pan seared sea bream, crushed herb & caper potato, sauce vierge.
  • Beer battered haddock, tartare, chipped potatoes, mushy peas.
  • Herb grilled free range chicken breast, greens, beans & chard, ratte potato.
  • (V) Butternut, chickpea & harissa tajine, quinoa & beetroot tzatziki.
  • Pan seared lambs liver, crispy onion, herb mash, jus.
  • Slow roasted duck leg, fennel, radish & orange, oriental dressing.

Brasserie Sunday Luncheon

  • Roast sirloin of Berkshire beef. Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables. Cauliflower cheese. (£3.95 surcharge with the sirloin).

  • Couple of cheeses from the board, oatcakes & piccalilli.
  • Coconut panna cotta, pineapple, mango sorbet.
  • Blackberry & apple bakewell, crème anglaise, vanilla ice cream..
  • LSB vanilla ice cream, cinder toffee, chocolate sauce.
  • Sugared pistachio & hazelnut tiramisu.
  • Caramelized lemon tart, thick cream, blackberry compote.
