Our set menu is offered daily 12noon – 7pm, (6.30pm Saturday) alongside the á la carte menu.

Today’s 2 Course Menu. Starter and Main £16.50

Starters

  • Basket of king prawns in their shell, paprika & lime mayonnaise to dip.
  • Crab, crème fraiche chilli salad, gazpacho dressing.
  • (V) Wye Valley asparagus & avocado salad, dandelion & vinaigrette.
  • Fried duck egg, toasted brioche, wild mushrooms, crispy smoked bacon, truffle oil.
  • (V) Heritage tomato & buffalo mozzarella, balsamic & basil.
  • Tuna carpaccio, ponzu dressing, edible flowers.

Main Courses

  • Pan seared sea bream, crushed herb & caper potato, sauce vierge.
  • Beer battered haddock, tartare, chipped potatoes, mushy peas.
  • Herb grilled free range chicken breast, asparagus, rainbow chard, ratte potato.
  • (V) Butternut, chickpea & harissa tajine, quinoa & beetroot tzatziki.
  • Pan fried rump steak, green salad, herb butter.
  • Slow roasted duck leg, fennel, radish & orange, oriental dressing.

Brasserie Sunday Luncheon

  • Roast sirloin of Berkshire beef. Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables. Cauliflower cheese. (£3.95 surcharge with the sirloin).

 

Desserts

  • Couple of cheeses from the board, oatcakes & piccalilli.
  • Berkshire strawberries, golden caster meringues, thick cream, coulis.
  • Raspberry bakewell, crème anglaise, raspberry ripple ice cream.
  • LSB vanilla ice cream, cinder toffee, chocolate sauce.
  • Iced gooseberry & elderflower fool, cinder toffee.
  • Caramelized lemon tart, white peach sorbet.
